A Review: Layout Ultimate Frisbee Gloves

When playing the sport of Ultimate, some accessories are sometimes overlooked. One of these being gloves. To a new player, gloves may seem unnecessary to play this sport, but in this quick review I'll be going over why Layout Ultimate has some of the best gloves to offer for this sport. 

When I first began playing Ultimate, wearing gloves was something I had never even heard of. I first noticed players wearing gloves at one of my early tournaments my freshman year of college. This tournament was especially cold, and I quickly noticed that catching the frisbee in this weather could leave a little sting on my hand, and playing in this weather made it harder to catch and grip the frisbee. Gloves quickly became a necessity in my Ultimate bag.

These gloves are especially unique as they have added grip on the outside of the gloves, allowing for more control and precision while playing. Another factor that made me fall in love with these gloves was the comfort. They kept my hands warm, but not too hot, as they are thin and breathable. The price of these gloves is also unmatched, with pairs often going on sale below the $20 mark. 

Playing in both cold, and rainy conditions throughout my Ultimate career has made me realize that purchasing these gloves was one of the best investments I have made as a player, and my consistent gameplay regardless of the conditions is thanks to Layout Ultimate's amazing gloves.
