An Ultimate Interview: Featuring my Teammates
As this is a blog about ultimate, I took the time to interview my teammates about how their views on this sport. Some questions and responses I have asked are below:
How would you describe your relationship / experiences with ultimate?
Player 1: My relationship has grown from playing for fun and seeing the improvement to wanting to win and perfecting the craft. I'm now able to help teach new frisbee members things I've learned since I have started.
Player 2: It's been memorable learning more and more about the game. It's been great meeting new people and players in the Ultimate community, various players with different skill levels and competitiveness to learn from, and using those skills to develop my own game has been a great experience so far.
How would you describe your experience with this team (my college ultimate team)?
Player 1: My experience with this team has been nothing short of fun. From competing in tournaments, to getting to know my teammates better outside of practices and games, I've grown closer with the team and have had more fun than ever before.
Player 2: It's been memorable and a great ride so far. For the past three years with this team, I've made countless memories and friendships with players. This team has felt like another family in my life and I look forward to cherishing those memories while also continuing to make more memories and friendships for years to come.
I hope you take some of these insights from my teammates as a drop of encouragement to look into the sport of Ultimate if you are curious about being competitive, or even just want to be a part of the great culture that this sport brings.
